The St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Richmond is only a short 20 minutes’ cab or uber ride from Hobart. And with the wedding starting promptly at 3 pm, it is advised that guests leave their hotel in Hobart no later than 2 pm to ensure arrival at the church on time. However, as Richmond is such a beautiful and historic town (oldest Catholic church in Australia, oldest bridge in Australia, oldest gaol in Australia), guests may want to arrive at Richmond a in the morning, to give them time explore a historic Australian town that pre-dates Port Arthur.

Note: the bridesmaids and bridegrooms will be collected by stretch limousine at approximately 1.30 pm and will be driven to the church.

Getting From the Church to the Reception

After the wedding and the group photographs at the church, the bridesmaids, bride grooms and all guests will board a chartered coach and be driven from Richmond to the Glen Albyn Estate. A journey of approximately 45 minutes.

Getting Back to Your Hotel

After the reception, the chartered coach will take all guests back to their hotels in Hobart. A journey of approximately 10-20 minutes, depending where in Hobart your hotel is situated.
